As the new year clocked over, T and I left the kids with their grandparents and headed off for a magnificent tasting menu experience at the Award Winning Lake House Daylesford, our Christmas present from my parents (oh the delight!).
The Lake House Daylesford has a very impressive pedigree with two hats via the Age Good Food Guide and a top 30 ranking in The Australian Financial Review Top 100 Restaurants. Executive Chef Allan Wolf Tasker and Head Chef David Green take no short cuts in their creation of a menu that will tantalise your taste buds. Produce is hand picked for morning delivery from local organic farms and small scale local suppliers which ensures quality control and impressive combinations of flavours.
