Feijoas
Also called the ‘pineapple guava’, feijoas are available in Melbourne in May and June. It’s about the size of an egg and has a juicy flesh with a distinctive smell. The best way to eat it (in my opinion) is to cut it in half and spoon out the flesh straight into your mouth.
