Meet Taronga After Dark – An Adventure Like No Other

Taronga After Dark isn’t your ordinary evening stroll through the zoo. As day fades to night, the zoo transforms into a living, breathing wonderland filled with light, sound, and mystery. Families can follow Taronga After Dark on an immersive journey, discovering how the natural world comes alive after dark. Expect dazzling displays, interactive storytelling, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Whether it’s seeing nocturnal animals at their most active, listening to the hum of the night, or being captivated by the dazzling new installations, Taronga After Dark is a unique adventure the whole family will never forget.

The Taronga After Dark experience will run over 10 magical nights from 3 – 12 October.

Conditions of Entry – Taronga After Dark Competition

1. Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is The Kid Bucket List (“the Promoter”).
   
2. Eligibility
   
   • Entry is open to residents of New South Wales, Australia.
     
   • Entrants must be 18 years or older.
     
   • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
     
3. Competition Period
   
   • The competition opens at 9.00 am (AEST) on Wednesday 20 August 2025.
     
   • Entries close at 5.00 pm (AEST) on Wednesday 3 September 2025.
     
   • Entries received after this time will not be considered.
     
4. How to Enter
   
   • To enter, participants must leave a comment on the competition blog post answering the question:
     “What would you be most excited to discover at AMOS after dark — a curious animal, a mythical creature like a mermaid, or something else entirely?”
     
   • Entrants must subscribe to the Kid Bucket List to be eligible (email provided in the comment will be added to the subscription list).
     
   • Each entrant may submit one entry only.
     
5. Prizes
   
   • There are three (3) Family Passes to the Taronga After Dark attraction to be won.
     
   • Each Family Pass is valid for 2 adults + 2 children, valued at $154 each.
     
   • The total prize pool is $462.
     
   • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
     
6. Winner Selection & Notification
   
   • Winners will be selected based on the creativity and originality of their answer by the Promoter’s judging panel.
     
   • Judging will take place on Thursday, 4 September 2025.
     
   • Winners will be notified via the email address provided when submitting their entry, and announced on the Kid Bucket List website and Facebook page.
     
7. Prize Delivery
   
   • Prizes will be delivered electronically.
     
   • The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost or misdirected prize delivery due to incorrect details supplied by the entrant.
     
8. General Conditions
   
   • By entering, entrants agree to these Conditions of Entry.
     
   • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, indecipherable, or not in accordance with these conditions.
     
   • The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
     
   • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
     
   • If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
