Oclean Flow Sonic Electric Toothbrush Review

Last month, I visited the dentist for my half-yearly clean and check. No cavities, thank you very much. In fact, I have no holes in my teeth, and my Wisdom Teeth have come out nice and straight, too. Gold star for me. Furthermore, the kid’s teeth are clear as well.

Whilst genetics contributes to our strong teeth, our hygiene practices play a large part. The kids have had regular brushing (both morning and night) drilled into them since toddlerhood, and I am also partial to sugar-free gum.

Of course, choosing a good toothbrush is key. We have explored lots of options and tried quite a few electric versions too. Whilst the electric brush has always cleaned a little better than the regular version, I tend to brush my teeth in the shower each morning (conserving water is a thing, don’t judge), so an electric brush just hasn’t worked, until now.

I was recently sent an Oclean Flow Sonic Electric Toothbrush to try. I could have handed it over to the kids, but I was selfish and kept it to myself. If I had handed it over, perhaps I wouldn’t be in the predicament of now contemplating one for every one in the family!

What We Loved About Oclean Flow Sonic Electric Toothbrush

There were a few things that I loved about the Oclean Flow Sonic Electric Toothbrush. One of the top things was that it is waterproof. Hello, electric brushing in the shower.

My dentist keeps reminding me that I need to make sure I brush consistently for around 2 minutes. When the kids were little, I would set a timer to keep them on task. Now that they are teenagers, I no longer police their brushing. I assume they take care. With an Oclean Toothbrush, they can set the built-in timer, which counts down every 30 seconds. Brilliant!

Here’s another fun fact about the Oclean Flow Sonic Electric Toothbrush: the battery lasts up to six months with a single charge. We can actually take it on our travels and not need to worry about working out how to charge it.

Lastly, there are 5 brushing modes, which means this particular toothbrush can be individualised for me, or for the kids (obviously with their own brush. We don’t share toothbrushes)
