Direct from Spain, Univers is a beautifully crafted sensory performance created especially for babies and toddlers aged 0–2 years. Ready, Set Listen! Symphonic Dances

Lively rhythms and memorable melodies make Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances a joyful first step into the world of classical music for young listeners. Specially designed for children aged 0–5, this engaging 30-minute performance encourages active listening in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Performed by musicians from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the music has been thoughtfully arranged for a small ensemble by composer Tim Hansen. Alongside the musicians is much-loved children’s entertainer Emily Who, who helps guide little ones through the experience with warmth, energy and playfulness.

With comfortable floor seating and a flexible format, families are encouraged to sit, move, listen and explore together. It’s classical music without the “sit still” rules — creating a fun, sensory introduction that supports curiosity, movement and musical discovery.

Lennie’s Great Adventure

Lennie Gwyther’s remarkable journey from regional Victoria to Sydney is one of Australia’s most heart-warming true stories — and now it’s being shared through a brand-new children’s opera.

In 1932, at just nine years old, Lennie set out on an extraordinary adventure, riding his chestnut pony from Leongatha all the way to Sydney to witness the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Along the way, crowds gathered to cheer him on, newspapers across Australia — and even in London — followed his progress, and Lennie became a national sensation. His journey included a special visit to Parliament House in Canberra and a triumphant welcome in Martin Place.

Andy Griffiths’ YOU & ME and The Land of Lost Things

Well… quite a lot has gone missing. A guinea pig. A lucky rabbit’s foot. Possibly even the plot. A compelling story of yearning and optimism.

Adam Kelly is, in his words, an autistic gentleman. His friend Finbar is a fish. Adam thinks that asking someone what it feels like to live with autism is pretty much like asking a fish (i.e. Finbar) if it knows it’s in water, which is pretty funny if you think about it.

ARCO is Adam Kelly’s award-wining show about living with autism, or, in Finbar the fish’s case, living in water. The show takes a heartfelt look at the life and struggles of a young man trying to make connections with the people and world around him.
