I am absolutely obsessed with LEGO and love building. I have even created a LEGO club at my school so I can spend time building with my students. I just wish we had all the LEGO stores in Sydney when I was a kid.
There is an abundance of LEGO stores in Sydney – eight in total! The Lego Store Bondi Junction was the very first that we explored, providing us with two levels in their Westfield location to find our latest LEGO build.
Features of a LEGO Certified Store
Table of Contents
All of the LEGO stores in Sydney share some features which will help you navigate the stores super easily.
Official LEGO Partnership
LEGO Certified Stores are authorised retailers directly affiliated with the LEGO Group. They have an official partnership with LEGO, ensuring that the products they sell are genuine and meet LEGO’s quality standards.
Wide Product Selection
All LEGO Shop Sydney offers a diverse range of LEGO products, including various LEGO sets, themes, and exclusive items. They stock a comprehensive selection of LEGO sets across different age ranges and themes, catering to different interests and preferences.
Exclusive Sets and Collectibles
These stores usually carry LEGO sets and collectibles that are exclusively available at LEGO Certified Stores or through the LEGO Brand Retail channels. These exclusive items can include limited-edition sets, special promotional products, or unique LEGO elements.
Engaging Displays
All of the LEGO stores in Sydney feature intricate and eye-catching displays showcasing LEGO models, dioramas, and large-scale LEGO builds. These displays are designed to inspire creativity and capture the imagination of both children and adult LEGO enthusiasts.
On our recent visit to the Parramatta store, we learned that the large-scale builds are created by the Brickman and his team.
Pick-a-Brick Wall
One distinctive feature of LEGO Certified Stores is the Pick-a-Brick Wall. This wall consists of various LEGO elements in different shapes, colours, and sizes. The kids (and even you) can select and purchase individual LEGO pieces in bulk, allowing for greater customisation and building possibilities.
Build Your Own Minifigure
Many LEGO stores in Sydney offer a Build-a-Minifigure station, where the kids and you can assemble your own custom LEGO minifigures. These stations provide a selection of minifigure parts, accessories, and accessories, allowing you to create unique characters.
LEGO Events and Activities
LEGO Certified Stores frequently organize events, workshops, and activities aimed at engaging LEGO fans of all ages. These can include building competitions, building challenges, meet-and-greets with LEGO characters, and other interactive experiences.
Knowledgeable Staff
Sydney LEGO shops employ staff members who are knowledgeable about LEGO products and can provide assistance, recommendations, and information about LEGO sets, themes, and building techniques.
LEGO Passport
LEGO passports have arrived in Australia and New Zealand and are available at all LEGO Certified Stores for free! Once you have your hands on your own passport you can start collecting unique stamps from each of the LEGO stores in Sydney.
Collecting LEGO stamps is both fun and FREE, with the stamps changing each month.
