Where to See Dinosaurs in Sydney

Dinosaurs haven’t roamed the Earth for a good 66 million years,  yet they inspire curiosity and wonder in both kids and adults alike. In fact, as a teacher, when I ask students what they want to be when they grow up, I can guarantee that at least one child (and usually more) will say ‘paleontologist’

There are all sorts of dinosaurs to fall in love with: big dinosaurs, cute dinosaurs, fierce dinosaurs and weird dinosaurs. You can find them in books and in documentaries, but nothing quite beats seeing a dinosaur up close.

Here at the Kid Bucket List, we are often asked where to see dinosaurs in Sydney, and we can usually point our readers in the right direction. There are some staple spots where you are guaranteed to spot a dinosaur on almost any day of the week, and then there are some places where sightings are a little more sporadic.

With this in mind, we thought it wise to create a spot where you can be pointed in the right direction whenever you need a prehistoric fix.
