Perth is said to be the most isolated metropolitan city in the world. It’s closer to Asia than it is to Canberra, and quite remote in comparison to all the other cities on our island continent. It is one of our favourite places to visit in Australia, boasting an incredible limestone coastline, great food, an eclectic mix of culture and enough activities to keep an intrepid traveller engaged for over a week. But what about fun things to do in Perth with kids? What could you possibly do to keep them busy.

When booking accomodation you are spoilt for choice when it comes to sourcing a place to stay in Perth. We use Expedia to book most of our accomodation.
Car Rental
I’m paranoid about extremely expensive excess bills, so we usually use Apex Car Rental or Bayswater Car Rental who combine their excess into the rental fee and seem to be much cheaper than everyone else.

My kids say all theses are very boring they want fun stuff to do
Hi Bryan. My kids found many of these attractions quite exciting. I guess it depends on how old your kids are and what they are interested in. Perhaps they are more interested in things like trampoline parks and ice skating? You can look those things up.
Right on point! Perth really offers a lot of locations to spend time with your entire family and keep the kids entertained! Not to mention that there are so many 1 day trip around Perth that are easily reachable.
Leah, we loved our trip to Perth! The kids really enjoyed their time spent in Kings Park, the Caversham Wildlife park and the beaches. Particularly, I loved the wine tasting Swan Valley 🙂 We had a lot of fun and we kept ourselves busy during a few days in Perth.
